We lost Dr. Ramanathan J, Founder & Managing Trustee of Vasantha Memorial Trust on 26th September 2025, a true visionary.
To honour his life, prayer meetings were held in Chennai (28th Sept) and Mumbai (5th Oct).
Today in Mumbai, over 100 people gathered at Vasantha Memorial Cancer Centre, his dream was to have a bigger archive in Mumbai we just managed to showcase a few collectibles from his personal collections, incl medical tools, and memories that told the story of his remarkable journey. A bigger archive is in the anvil.
A film on his life touched every heart in the room.

Vasantha Mitra- support group of breast cancer survivors was initiated by Dr Ramanathan and has been going on for the last so many years. The prayer meet of Dr.Ramanathan was conducted today at the Vasantha Memorial Cancer Centre, Mumbai. 34 survivors paid heartfelt and rich tributes and the film on Dr.Ramanathan was translated by the volunteers in Marathi so they could understand in depth the persona of who Dr. was..as they saw the archive room…and the priceless collectibles…they were overwhelmed…tears flowing they said their byes to his sister.
